Snowmotion AS is the leading provider of military snowshoes. With our partners Rottefella and the Norwegian military, we have developed snowshoes that are used by the Norwegian Army and in testing in several other NATO countries.
About the snowshoes
The Snowmotion M22 Military Snowshoes are built to withstand extreme winter conditions, allowing users to move efficiently in all types of winter terrain. Some of the unique features (short/long):
- Flexible and Robust: Molded in one piece of plastic that can withstand heavy loads without breaking, even at temperatures as low as -46 degrees Celsius.
- Lightweight and Practical: Weight 3050/3200 grams per pair.
- Versatile Design: Fits both feet, one size fits all. Designed for use with mittens, few parts, easy maintenance and logistics.
- High Flotation: 140/160 kg, depending on snow conditions.

- High Buoyancy: Buoyancy of 140 kg (short version) and 160 kg (long version).
Technological Maturity
Our snowshoes have a technological maturity level of TRL9 and are in active use with over 20,000 pairs in the Norwegian Army. This ensures a thoroughly tested product reliable in the most demanding conditions.
